the Author: Larry Friend wrote Icy the Iceberg while he and his wife, Nancy, were on vacation in the state of Alaska. The
book was written in the library of the cruise ship and inspired by the magnificent scenery. The book is illustrated by Sidney
“Mindy” Makis, the author’s sister, who lives in Binghamton, New York. Larry and his wife live in Libertyville,
